SCN: A quick tribute to a friend

SPEAKER 1: Hey, folks.

SPEAKER 1: I don't often do this and I wish I didn't have to, you know, I released the, the hobby quick hits, episode today was already recorded and uploaded so I couldn't add it to that episode. But I also think it's better to do this on a stand alone, not gonna take a lot of your time up, especially releasing two episodes, in one day.

SPEAKER 1: And, but the reason for this special edition, if you will, but there's nothing really special, about this, the hobby in the podcasting world. And I lost a friend, today with the passing of Jeff Baker. Some of you may know him for those that don't. He was the host of TT M cast, been on his show.

SPEAKER 1: He's been on my show and, and further than that, we've had, numerous off the air conversations. He would ask me what I thought about a new segment or doing this or, you know, what he, what did I think of, you know, something he was doing and, always seemed to come to me, for some advice and I was very, you know, honored and appreciated that and, just, a stunning end of my Sunday night here.

SPEAKER 1: And, sad, it's a sad day. And, he was a great hobby, you know, I used the words ambassador and advocate and he, he definitely wore both of those badges proudly and deservedly.

SPEAKER 1: So, and, the hobby is gonna miss him and obviously he was a great husband and father, more, more importantly I should say. And, so for, you know, for those that, you know, of, of the praying variety, keep, keep the Baker family, in your prayers, at the, at this difficult time. And, you know, you don't replace, people like that. We're all individual in our own ways.

SPEAKER 1: And so, I'm gonna miss my friend Jeff and, you know, you, you know, I'll post, you know, I'll post the dis, you know, I'll talk about additional information as it comes in but, you know, check out TT M cast and the episodes that were, they're out there if you haven't already, you know, that's a, a fitting tribute to go back and listen to your favorite episode.
